Jerzy Werbel trained at the University of Education and Art in Poland before relocating to Canada via Germany. Settling in Southwestern Ontario, he developed a distinctive perspective on his new homeland. Over 20 years, his work has been shaped by extensive travels across Canada, capturing the diverse landscapes and the spirit of freedom. Werbel’s paintings reflect a deep connection to place, blending his European roots with his Canadian experience.
