Born in Hull and based near Ottawa, Jacky MacDonald specializes in bold oil landscapes and street scenes inspired by Europe and Canada. Trained under Philip Craig and shaped by early exposure to the great masters, her richly textured works evoke the ambiance of village life with expressive brushwork and palette knife technique. Her paintings are held in private and corporate collections, including a 2015 Canadian Mint silver coin design. Represented by Koyman Galleries in Ottawa.
