Gerda Marschall is a Canadian artist based in Eastern Ontario. Primarily self-taught, she studied at the Saidye Bronfman Centre and was influenced by noted Canadian artists. Working in oil, she explores colour, movement, and emotional resonance through layered, expressive compositions. Drawing from the natural world, her work evokes a strong sensory response, blending abstraction and memory into a vivid, dynamic visual language.
